WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Day shift only 8am5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am2:30pm Friday
- £12.50 per hour to £14.50 per hour depending on competency

  • Minimal overtime paid at time & 1⁄
  • Temp to perm following a 12week probation period.

THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking Welder/Fabricators for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. The organisation employs 25 staff and has a £3m turnover. The business specialises in bespoke fabrications. This is a temp to perm opportunity following a successfulprobation period.

You will form a team of 6 Welder/Fabricators in total.

The business has a guaranteed order book for the next 18 months and the business can provide job security due to its diverse client range.


THE ROLE

  • Welding and fabrication
  • Working with sheet metal up to 5mm max
  • Providing bespoke work to a variety of customer
  • Fabricating tanks and storage vessels
  • Quality checking to ensure work hits the standard

THE PERSON

  • This role would suit someone with sheet metal experience or experience of light fabrications
  • MIG welding experience delivering fillet and butt welds
  • Able to quality check on work
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision
