About the role:

As an Accountant, your finger will be on the financial pulse of the entire organisation.

Statutory Accounting delivers our highest priority financial reporting to governments and regulators across the globe including the UK, Netherlands and an ever-growingnumber of countries in APAC, LATAM and the Middle East.

Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating our international audits, liaising with external auditors and tracking deliverables across a global and organisation-wide setof colleagues.

You will prepare IFRS financials and design custom regulatory reports on a routine and ad hoc basis. In addition, you will be curious - analysing, challenging and interpreting financial records and performance.


What you will be doing:


  • Liaison between auditors and internal teams to track timely delivery status of audit requests.
  • Prepare auditable support required to clear PBC items you are responsible for.
  • Extract and analyse financial data for both internal and external reporting.
  • Investigate period over period variances in P&L and BS captions providing logical explanations for fluctuations.
  • Assist teams by providing information required to file tax returns regulatory returns, and any other required information pertaining to the entity.

What you will need:


  • Qualified Chartered Accountant ACA/ACCA.
  • Experience of managing external audits of IFRS financial statements.
  • Skilled in analytical and statistical examination.
  • Been responsible for the delivery and tracking of multiple deliverables with conflicting deadlines.
  • Proven and established stakeholder management.

Added bonus if you have:

years' previous work experience within a similar role in an Accounting Firm or similar financial institution.

  • Preparation of statutory trial balances and financial statements.
  • Payment services or money transfer experience preferred but not essential.
