Drake Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experience Teaching Assistant to join the School as soon as possible.

FTE Salary Range:
NJC Grade C, Point - 7, £21,575 - £22,369 per annum, pro-rata for part time
Actual Annual Salary Range:
£14, £15,241.87 per annum
Contract Type:
Fixed Term until 22 July 2024, part time, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract Hours:28.33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:10pm
About the role
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and well organised individual.
We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:
- Have at least Level 2 Teaching Assistant and/or Level 2 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent to these)
- Be able to display effective communication skills with both children and adults
- Be eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, adaptable and open to new ideas and practices
- Be a fast and highly flexible thinker, being able to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a 'cando' attitude
- Experience of working with SEN children preferable
The post would suit an early careers teacher who would like to gain further classroom experience before starting their career.
