THE ROLE:

The role is to provide design services with unique creative concepts and design solutions in many formats including new media from written and verbal briefs from a wide range of industries and markets.

This role will work on one of the most vital projectsof our client.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To work with the Clients marketing team on reaching design goals and delivering all in the form of brochures and GIFs
You will be producing designs to brief, ensuring tight deadlines are met and multiple projects are being handled at the same time.
Ability to create a range of marketing materials to a high standard, at the same time meeting brief and updating brand guidelines.
To create design assets by identifying, evaluating and advising internal and external clients requests for creative design or production services to ensure all work is supplied to a high standard, on time and to budget
To develop good communications and working relationships with all project departmental staff and promote and maintain awareness of existing and new design provided, to support and structure product development
To keep an eye on and review all Client offerings in respect of design and productions to ensure prominence in the marketplace.
To monitor, troubleshoot and maintain own workstation, hardware and software to ensure the system works effectively and efficiently or where this is not possible to bring the problem to the attention of IT.
To check all printed proofs and final printed material for own jobs for accuracy, quality and cost purposes

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

BA in graphic design or new media or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in graphic design
Working knowledge and understanding of digital and print design principles
Negotiation with internal clients
Good understanding of technology/new areas of development
Events, advertising and marketing understanding a bonus
Understanding of printready files, techniques, terminology and processes
Knowledge of scanners/zip drives/ printers and CD writers and other peripherals
Studio server, networking, storage, scanning and archiving hardware procedures
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and newer software like Canva
Strong understanding of typography
Communication excellent written English and verbal communication skills, report writing and presentation skills
Project Management; ability to oversee/manage multiple products
Detailed understanding of marketing principles
Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
Selfmotivated / Innovative / Creative
Good team work ethics
