Hours:

Salary:

We are really excited about our future vision for Adult Social Care and have committed to embedding new ways of working that build on our relationship and strengths-based approach to working with people, carers and families.

To further drive our commitment, we are seeking an innovation lead to support our practitioners, teams, and services in taking our Fulfilling Lives programme, based on the Three Conversations approach, to the next level.

Our Fulfilling Lives programme has adopted the

Social Care Future Vision:
'We all want to live in the place we call home with the people and things that we love, in communities where we look out for one another, doing the things that matter to us'

Our journey so far has shown us how the Three Conversations approach enables us to connect with people, carers and families far more quickly and effectively so they can live safe, independent and fulfilled lives, but we have more work to do to implement and embed this across all of our teams, services and the wider system.

What you can expect to be doing:

As Innovation Lead, you will play a key role in coaching and mentoring teams to embrace the Three Conversations principles, providing the necessary conditions for growth, reflection, and testing-out ideas from frontline colleagues. The approach is consistent with our Practice Standards and BCP Council's culture as a learning organisation and ambition to create vibrant communities.
This lead role will include engagement with a wide range of stakeholders across our Dorset Integrated Care System

Key functions will include:
- working with colleagues, teams and leaders to develop practice,
- chairing co-production and practice reflection meetings,
- providing evidence and data to demonstrate positive impact for local people, our colleagues, and partners,
- and overall leading this way of working through your own relational and strengths-based approach.

If you thrive on work requiring a solution-focused and creative approach to practical challenges, where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you.

Essential qualifications you will need:

You will have either a relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent experience, along with significant experience of working as an experienced practitioner, or commissioner within Adult Social Care, or as a person with lived experience of the social care system.

You will have credibility as someone who inherently leads in a relationship-based way and believes in the power of individuals and communities to make a positive difference to people's lives, and the experience of our frontline practitioners.

Further details and requirements can be found in the attached job description.

Additional information:

You'll find this to be a highly rewarding opportunity with us, where you'll be influencing how we make a positive difference to people's lives.

As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which all of our employees will move on to.

It is important to us that we offer benefits that our colleagues value as part of their total employment package and we are reviewing these to make sure we have it right.

We're hoping to implement these changes in 2024 and all colleagues joining us will be included in these changes.
