The Role

:


The main purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the Fleet Department to enable the efficient and effective processing of paperwork.


You will be updating the Fleet Maintenance system which includes, document scanning and filing of all maintenance paperwork, provide information to enable KPI's to be completed in a timely manner.


You will be required to liaise with external and internal maintenance providers, maintain accurate vehicle history in line with legislation, process all vehicle defects on a daily basis, up-date all fleet excel databases with current information, ordering of replacement tyres for vehicles/trailers.


Remuneration & Hours

:

Permanent Position

Flexibility of hours with full or part time being fully considered (40hrs, 30hrs, 20hrs)

Monday to Friday

Rate of pay £11.00 per hour (£10.50 whilst training, if extensive training is required)

Key Responsibilities

:


  • Processing of all vehicle defects onto the Fleet Maintenance system.
  • Processing of all Fleet Excel spreadsheets, updating with current information.
  • Process information to enable KPI's and monthly figures to be produced.
  • Maintain all vehicle files in line with legislation.
  • Provide support to the Fleet Department as and when requested.
  • Scanning and Filing of all documentation.
  • Undertake other duties as and when required by the department
  • To promote best practice in maintaining high levels of Customer Service
  • You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations regarding the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
  • Report any health and safety issue including accidents to self.
  • Follow all site rules.
  • You must comply with all relevant legislation.
  • Undertake such other duties that are required from time to time commensurate with this position.
  • Promote Wm. Armstrong in line with current company values, beliefs and branding.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated and able to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills, including experience of spreadsheets and computerbased systems, including Microsoft products.
  • Professional telephone manner when dealing with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Driving licence essential (Car)
