Training Coordinator

Location:
London (Hybrid - a combination of office and remote working)


Role type:
Part Time, 21 hours per week(0.6 FTE)


Salary:
£30,450 FTE (0.6 FTE) £18,270 per annum.

We are currently recruiting for
a Training Coordinator at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (_bpf_). The _bpf_ is one of the largest psychotherapy membership and training organisations in Europe, with 600 members and trainees. We are also a UK registered charity.

We train therapists through high-quality, intensive clinical training programmes; and we promote increased public awareness and access to the therapies we teach.

The bpf is looking for a high performing motivated person who is comfortable working with academic and professional directors.


Role description
The Training Coordinator will ensure the efficient and effective professional administration of the bpf's training activities.


You will maintain the annual rhythm of training events and activities throughout the year in a timely fashion and redefine procedures as necessary.


This role will work closely with the Training Director&/or Committee Chair/member of the Training Committee as directed by the TD/CC to provide detailed administrative support to all aspects of finding teachers, issuing contracts, providing termly schedules to trainees, distributing reading lists, requesting, receiving and distributing reports, and setting up online seminars.


Essential criteria

  • A standard pass or above in both Mathematics and English at GCSE level, two A levels or vocational qualification at level three or have gained an equivalent level of learning through work experience.
  • Significant experience in an administrative role, preferably in a client/customerfacing environment, and ideally in a training, education, or membership setting.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and work effectively as a team member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose; communications to a wide range of professionals, and to take accurate minutes
  • Good general computer literacy including competency in Microsoft Office, databases, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and the ability to be selfsupporting;
