Customer service and administrative support

Job Purpose and Scope
Support our team; responsible for supporting all parts of the business through a variety of customer service-based functions.

This is a broad role which will include dealing with customers on multiple platforms and supporting the day-to-day business operations.


Main Responsibilities

  • Dealing with customer queries through the business software (Freshdesk).
  • Answering the phone in the office/shop as needed.
  • Managing customer bookings via our ticketing system.
  • Passing on customer feedback/suggestions.
  • Escalating issues as needed to the relevant manager or supervisor in house.
  • Maintaining customer interaction on all social platforms replying to comments and questions, liking photos and sharing customer reviews.
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with sourcing content for socials and advertising.
  • Potential to assist in future blog writing/creation.
  • Liaising with the office and wider teams to build relationships.
  • Assisting office staff as needed with admin tasks including but not limited to scanning, filing, form creation/completion, ordering and maintaining in house processes.

Skills & Experience

Knowledge

Essential

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word and with a good knowledge of social media platforms

Desirable
Knowledge of customer service based software


Experience

Essential

  • Experience in, and a passion for, delivering fabulous customer service
  • Experience in working with customers on the phone and in writing
  • The ability to be able to build rapport quickly, and enjoy dealing with customers

Hours - we are looking to cover a full day on a Saturday (to be worked at the shop) and 2 half days in the week to be worked in the farm office.

16 hours per week minimum - hours could be increased for the right applicant. Pay rate £9.50ph upon commencement of employment occasional Sunday cover as needed.
