Management Accountant
Salary - up to 40k & study support (if needed) + benefits
Location - Blackpool - hybrid working
Our client is a fast growing company based in Blackpool.

Due to recent growth, acquisition and an internal promotion my client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team of 7 on a permanent basis.

This role would suit someone either part qualifiedor QBE.

Reporting into the FD you will be involved in a wide range of duties, meaning no day is ever the same.


Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the month end / year end process, including preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Overseeing calculation and posting of prepayments and accruals
  • Creation and implementation of hedging process
  • Posting and ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for all group reporting month, quarter, and year end requirements.
  • Calculation and posting of provisions relating to stock, annual leave etc.
  • Support of all internal and external audit processes
  • Work with Head of Accounting and external advisors on completion and submission of all UK tax return requirements
  • Support the timely preparation and publishing of statutory accounts and tax declarations
  • Ensure accuracy and fulfilment of payroll and related requirements
