Description

Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for Steel Coil Packers on behalf of their client, TATA Steel UK - Llanwern, Newport for ongoing / temporary to permanent positions.

Duties include working in a warehouse environment using banding machinery and other packing equipment to pack steel coils prior to distribution.

You must have a good level of physical fitness and a keen eye for detail to carry out this role, and a strong attitude towards health and safety is essential.

All training will be provided to carry out this role, workwear and PPE is provided.

All applicants must have:

  • Forklift Truck and overhead crane experience in an industrial environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • A valid UK drivers licence is also desirable but not essential.

Your working hours:

  • Monday
  • Friday, 40 hours per week, 7am3pm. Paying £11.54 per hour.
