Jobstore are recruiting for TIG Welders to join our clients leading UK Operation, based out of Blackpool on a temporary and temp to perm basis.

The right TIG Welder applicants will have an opportunity to join a leading UK business, with great training opportunities and the potential of a Permanent contract for those who demonstrate the right skills and ability.

With this business, you will be responsible for;

Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures
Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each project
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

Proficient in TIG welding techniques
Strong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to assemble components accurately according to specifications
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and welding metal
Experience with stick welding is a plus
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is preferred

These positions are working on the back shift - 2.30pm to 12.30am Monday to Thursday NO Fridays - £13.92 pay rate.

However, the first two weeks, whilst training on the business and their product will be 6.00am to 2.30pm on a rate of £12.81, increasing to £13.92 when you move onto back shift.
