National from £39,100 to £43,000 per annum and London £41,600 to £45,000 per annum

The Team/Department

We are looking for a Digital Learning Designer to join our Capability Development team.

We are developing a learning culture across the FCA where knowledge is freely shared, expertise is valued and where the development we offer our employees helps our people to perform at their best.

What you will be doing?

  • Champion and influence the use of learning technology to support capability development initiatives
  • Project manage digital learning design projects, in collaboration with the team, to ensure timeframes and deadlines are met
  • Promote new ideas for learning design such as appropriate graphics, animations and video content
  • Design and script digital learning content, including video, animation and eLearning
  • Manage the existing FCA suite of digital learning and eLearning modules responsible for maintenance and upkeep
  • Assuring that the quality of digital learning content is consistently developed to a high standard and is fully accessible
  • Manage and upkeep of local FCA academy SharePoint site
  • Assist with management and development of the Learning Management System (LMS)

The skills and experience you will have

Minimum

  • Evidence of proficiency in one or more authoring tools, ideally Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Experience in producing creative digital content for learning purposes
  • Demonstrable experience working with/managing an LMS
Essential

  • Experience of utilising learning technologies to drive innovation and blended learning
  • Experience of managing successful project delivery to agreed outputs, time and budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong focus on performance and results with the ability to work in a demanding environment
  • A pragmatic, proactive and curious mindset with the experience to deploy a range of solutions when faced with challenges; ensuring these solutions are customer focused and balances the wider needs of the organisation
  • An eye for detail with quality assurance experience
