£105 per day


Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Temporary Progress Tutor for our long-standing and valued client, a Further Education College in Scunthorpe.

This is a full-time, temporary role with an attractive salary of £105 per day.

As a Progress Tutor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to students throughout their college journey
  • Act as the first point of contact for students, delivering pastoral and academic support through onetoone meetings and group tutorials
  • Helping students reflect on their academic progress and providing guidance on progression options after the college
  • Monitoring attendance and behaviour to instil independence and resilience within students, helping to prepare them for success at college and beyond
  • Experience working in a further education setting
  • A passion for supporting students to reach their full potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A relevant teaching qualification or teaching assistant experience
  • Bonus: degree/interest in psychology and counseling
