HR Advisor

Bristol - 2 days a week in the office

Paying up to £40k

12-month FTC


The LHH (formerly Badenoch + Clark) HR team are working with a leading professional services business who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international business withfantastic values, in an established HR team.


Overview of the role:


  • Providing operational HR generalist advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and line managers
  • Effectively deal with employee relations matters including disciplinary meetings, grievances and sickness / absence reviews, performance management and handling absence management queries.
  • Support with performance reviews, budget planning and the annual reward cycle.
  • Providing proactive HR advice and guidance to support business managers and colleagues, across a range of people issues
  • Support on HR projects where required.
  • Proactively recommending policy and procedural changes where necessary
  • Proactively support the wider HR team to drive improvement

What we are looking for:


  • HR Generalist with experience managing a wide range of people issues
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with demonstrable experience partnering and coaching managers
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
  • Used to leading employee relations meetings, performance discussions and disciplinary meetings with line managers and employees.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of employment law and best practice.
  • Computer literate MS Office Packages.
  • Previous experience with multitasking work and projects, and capacity to prioritise as needed.
  • CIPD qualified preferred
  • Must have excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience of using HR software and systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
