Axon Moore are supporting a successful and well-known business in Preston, to recruit an ambitious qualified Finance Business Partner.

This is an excellent varied and commercial focussed role and for an determined individual to gain exceptional exposureand shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Head of Finance.

Responsibilities include:

To develop, lead and manage budgeting, forecasting and the planning process to ensure challenging and robust business plans that support long term business growth
Work with Senior Managers to understand current performance, produce detailed forecasts and insightful analysis to improve basis for financial decision making and cost control
Supporting the sales team with commercial agreements, incentives and rewards to ensure spend is in line with budgets and forecasts and profitability maximised
Communication of performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities to maximise profitability
Support of ad hoc analysis and appraisal of business initiatives to help prioritise and drive sales and profitability
Assess commercial viability of business initiatives and make data backed recommendations to the management teams
Lead data driven decision making initiatives throughout the business, via the provision of reliable and accessible business data analytics and reporting
Manage the provision for the trade facing operations of timely MI, conducting ROI analysis for trade related incentives and opportunities to optimise financial performance
Ensures all operational processes are regularly reviewed for efficiency and effectiveness
