Following a recent restructure, we are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious person to join the team as a eRostering Systems Administrator


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, dynamic team which plays a pivotal role in efficient workforce deployment across the Trust.

You will be committed to delivering high quality customer service to users of the Trust's eRostering service and associated systems, and thereby supporting the provision of excellent patient care.

The post holder will provide administrative support and guidance to managers and system users across all staff groups and our four hospital sites.


You will have a good understanding of the importance of rostering and the impact of rostering practices on staff, patients and the Trust.

You will be organised, adaptable, keen to learn and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in your work, as well as having excellent communication skills.


This post would suit someone with a background in IT system support/implementation or electronic rostering from either an administrative or clinical role.

System specific training will be provided in post.

Key Skills Required

  • Experience of eRostering in the NHS.
  • Experience in developing processes and guidance material for end users
  • Experience in delivering training and presenting information to groups of people.


The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
