An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join Salus Ward at Torbay Hospital.

The role will involve being part of the team who provide support for patients with a diagnosis of a range of mental health, the post holder will support and assist the qualified Occupational Therapist. The post holder will plan and facilitate therapeutic activities according to patients needs, within the framework laid down by the supervising Occupational Therapist. The post holder may also carry out individual interventions or co facilitate groups alongside operational staff as directed by qualified staff.
