Senior Communications Manager:
Housing -Decarbonisation;


Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000 - depending on experience


A non-departmental public body, whose principle business has been to deliver government decarbonisation grants and projects is looking for a fantastic Communication Manager to help with the new business unit; a delivery agent project focusing on upgradesto social housing.


This is an incredible opportunity to contribute your PR and communication excellence - helping tackle the energy crisis, reducing bills, and edge closer to those net-zero goals through your day to day work.


  • You will lead our client's internal communication strategy on behalf of the housing team; whilst also helping the external, outsourced delivery partner build out a comprehensive external communication strategy to ensure the grant fund recipients are setup for success.
Your key objectives;

  • To help the Delivery Partner establish a communications strategy that will focus on building a learning community amongst grant recipients to promote best practice
  • To build an internal communications strategy that will;
  • 1. Communicate knowledge to the broader business around new housing funding schemes
  • 2. Ensure all new starters within the housing team have the relevant collateral to start making an impact on the housing function as quickly as possible
We are looking to speak to people that have;

  • Previous experience in a PR & Marketing function
  • Experience working within i.e. public sector, central government, environmental sector etc.
  • Substantial people management experience, building and leading highperforming teams
  • Experience in successfully delivering campaigns and public affairs activities inhouse, in an agency or in an industry body setting
