Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a

local authority in

Tyneside to recruit an experienced

Housing Officer if you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,


Contract: - 6 months (Possible Extension)

Salary:
£13 p/h (Umbrella)

Start Date:
ASAP

Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time

Start Time: 9:00am -

17:00pm

DUTIES:


  • Delivering an integrated housing service to tenants and leasehold customers.
  • Providing a proactive and customer focused housing management service.
  • Acting as a regular and visible presence on estates, taking action to make sure estates are safe and well maintained.
  • Championing resident and community engagement and involvement at all times.
  • Providing advice, information and reports on any housing management matter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Must have previous experience within a Housing Officer role or equivalent.
  • Previous housing/tenancy management experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of Part VII of the Housing Act of 199
  • Have a track record of using IT systems and automation.
