Description

Main purpose of the job is to undertake all domestic plumbing work associated with providing a repairs and maintenance service including Repair / removal / replacement of a wide range of tasks including gutters, rainwater pipes, soil pipes, sanitary ware and taps etc.

Also including tracing and repairing leaks and burst pipes and Lead and metal work associated with plumbing duties. Also to provide Out of Hours Emergency service on rota basis (additional remuneration).

The multi skill duties are to include:

  • Wall tiling
  • Domestic joinery work
  • Floor covering reinstatement
  • Plaster patching
  • Gutter/RWP and domestic level roof repairs
  • Domestic bricklaying work
  • Kitchen/bathroom reinstatement/ making good.
  • Painting
  • Domestic electrical work (associated with plastering, the making safe, removal of sockets etc. but not the connection of supply)
