Workchain have brand new vacancies for full-time warehouse operatives to join a busy, nationwide company based in Biggleswade.

A fantastic opportunity to obtain full-time, on-going work with various shift patterns to suit you


Shift pattern(s) and pay rates;
Overtime rate at time and a half is payable on all shift patterns after 36.25 hours per week.

  • Picker / Warehouse Operatives
  • Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts 1st Week 06.00am to 14.00pm, 2nd Week 14.00pm to 22.00pm one in 6 weekends £11.75 per hour (overtime rate £14.69 per hour)
  • Picker / Warehouse Operatives
  • Tuesday to Friday 12pm10pm (no weekends) £10.65 per hour (overtime rate £13.32 per hour)

Each shift is split into picking, packing and returns to help break up your working day.

Job Role;

  • Receiving orders for collection or delivery depending on schedules
  • Picking customer orders from warehouse stock
  • Packing orders
  • Processing Large branch orders (wrap, box, label send)
  • Allocating returned stock to the correct locations
  • Allocating 'NEW' stock to locations provided.
  • Operate MHE equipment (licences may be required).
