Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to youth in a supportive and caring manner
  • Plan and facilitate educational and recreational activities for children
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement program curriculum
  • Monitor and supervise youth during program activities
  • Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and incidents

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children or youth in a mentoring or educational capacity
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with youth from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing program needs and schedules
  • Special education experience or training is a plus

£19,842.32-£28,645.30 per year
