We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team of endoscopy schedulers working within our busy endoscopy booking office.

If you are eager to learn, have a flexible approach to work and are reliable and enthusiastic, we would like to hear from you.

The role involves the booking of patients needing endoscopy in accordance with all Diagnostic, RTT and Cancer Targets.


To analyse and manage waiting lists to enable planning of patient procedure dates ensuring that Diagnostic, RTT and Cancer Targets are met.

To communicate appointment related information to the patient by phone. Issuing letters and bowel preparation to booked patients.

To track and retrieve referrals and associated records in a timely manner.

You should have excellent keyboard skills. Knowledge of the Hospital Patient Administrative System (Medway) and have some experience working within an office setting. Good communication and telephone skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.


The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
