Description

This is a full time position 40 hours per week.

Main responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Porter you will be expected to support the Head Chef in ensuring the standards of cleanliness in the working areas are maintained and comply with Company and legal standards.

They will also help with preparation of food and support events.

Duties include:

Assist with ensuring the efficient and effective running of the kitchen.
Ensure the working areas and equipment in the kitchen are cleaned to a high standard.
Aid the Chefs when necessary.
Ensuring the highest quality of cleaning is maintained on a consistent basis
Ensuring legal compliance with hygiene regulations
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy and are completely cleaned at the end of each shift
Receiving goods and assisting in unloading and packing away deliveries
Washing the Dishes
Assisting in food prep and sandwiches
Assist housekeeping when necessary
