Following promotion of the current post holder we have an exciting opportunity for a grade 6 ICT Technical Support Officer.
The post holder will provide professional technical expertise to schools across Lancashire. They will be responsible for implementing ICT solutions specifically relating to the education sector.
Typical duties will include:
- Installation of client devices within schools (desktops, laptops, tablets).
- Assisting with enterprisewide project development and deployment tasks.
Education Digital Services provide a wide range of ICT services ranging from Broadband connectivity and web filtering, through to Anti-Virus solutions, regular on-site support and Windows Server installations.
Knowledge of the products and services relevant to the education sector would be an advantage but on the job training and mentoring will also be available.
