Description

Responsibilities

Welcoming and settling children into class and check in on register
Overseeing children's work in class
Recording child's homework into record books
Marking children's classwork and corrections
Dating and providing homework to children and setting new work on tablet
Provide notes and feedback to instructor on children's progress and one more can do's
Assisting with assessments and achievement tests
Any other admin task as required

Skills

Enjoys working with and genuinely care for children
Patience when communicating with children or parents
Good understanding of Maths and English
Attention to detail
Organised and reliable

Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent (required)
Teaching or tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
Enhanced DBS (required)
Authorised to work in UK (required)

On the job training in relevant aspects of the Kumon Method of learning and class procedures will be provided.

Hours: 6+ hours a week

Must be available to attend training sessions at other specified times.
