Job Overview
- To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
- Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.
- To undertake additional training to ensure continuous selfdevelopment.
Main Duties
- Ensuring all duties are performed to a high corporate standard in a warm, pleasant, willing, professional manner and all enquiries are dealt with positively.
- Maintain a consistent high level of appearance as per the Mitie standards.
- Maintain a consistent high level of security in the Atrium and loading bay area.
- Ensure radios and BWC booked in and out.
- Ensure all officers on the Mitie autobook service
- Store reports to be entered in SMART
- Deal with all phone calls
- Deal with intruder alarms from MITIE Monitoring
- Deal with CCTV checks and patrols
- Log any lost property
- Take any internal reports
- Produce and send any additional Data Mining reports on client or Management request.
- Ensure internal and external patrols done
- Issuing keys
- File any completed log books, search book, loading bay sheets etc.
- Issuing Engineer/Cleaners day passes.
ID Card Helpdesk function - full fulfilment including daily issue of forgotten passes, operation of adding of access to passes, issuing of new staff passes and responsibility for termination and deletion of Security access control.
- Support of rail ticket collection solution.
- Timely and accurate production of reports including visitor statistics
- Collaboratively working with other Security Officers to deliver a seamless front of house service.
- Raise/react to suspicious and provision support to ensure the secure smooth running of the reception area.
- Deal with ad hoc issues from internal or external customers
- Actively seeking client organisational adjustments and attain an exceptional knowledge of the building and local amenities.
- Attend training development and team briefings.
- Proactively support the Site Security Manager and Security Senior Controllers where required.
