The key position of Finance & HR Officer is critical in effectively supporting the business on all aspects of finance ensuring that the function always runs smoothly and providing constructive challenge to commercial decisions.


This is very much a hands-on position that requires an individual looking for a varied role that will give them exposure to the breadth of activities of the organisation, including HR related activities.

You will be the first point of contact for all invoicing/finance queries.

  • Processing Invoices on Xero
  • Customer & Supplier relations
  • Bank Receipts and Payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Management Reports
  • Prepare, Check & Submit Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Manual Wages Journal
  • Preparing and Sending Contracts/New Starter Forms to new employees
  • Any Ad-Hoc duties as required by Director and other staff members
A strong working knowledge of XERO and Excel is essential. Excellent organisational, administration & planning skills as well as being able to prioritise your own work. You will be confident in assisting the Accountant with year end accounts. You will also have a good strong, client focus with excellent communication skills.


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
