Overview:

NEW Prison Leaver Project in Lancashire

Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can use your passion and skills to make a difference to people's lives? Do you want to lead on delivering an innovative new prison leaver service across Lancashire?


Responsibilities:


Provided through our partnership with the Probation Service, and working in collaboration within a small dedicated multi-disciplinary team, this new project will work with people leaving HMP Preston who have served up to 14 days with identified dependency and recovery needs.


As Team Leader, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as demonstrable experience of effective partnership working.

The post holder will be required to be creative and innovative in their approach and be an integral part of the leadership team.

The team will deliver a trauma informed and responsive service, providing interventions at every opportunity and driven by an understanding of the barriers faced by men who have past and ongoing trauma, limited trust in others and a history of offending.

Partnership working will be key to ensuring service users achieve the best possible outcomes.

Working closely with stakeholders inside HMP Preston and others including police, third sector, probation, health, and social care, providing intensive and personalised support.


You will be based at one of our existing Inspire services in Lancashire, with an expectation for you to work across sites as required, all travel expenses will be paid.
