Description

Prospectus is pleased to be working with a homelessness charity based in Newham, whose mission is to provide support to people who find themselves sleeping rough in East London, by providing a safe and welcoming place to stay, and offering support through the provision of personalised support, educational and life skills opportunities.

They are now looking to recruit a temporary Accommodation Officer, as an ongoing assignment.

To be considered, you will have previous experience of working with vulnerable adults, preferably in a homelessness setting and experience of working with public and private sector landlords.

You will have knowledge of homelessness/housing legislation and practice due to the role having strong and intensive housing management focus.

Lastly, you will showcase strong organisational skills, a flexible approach to team working and the ability to communicate and work effectively with other agencies.

_To be considered, you must be available immediately or with no more than 1 weeks' notice period and be willing to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. An Enhanced up to date DBS for Adults is required. _
Please note, you will be required to travel across their services in East London.
