An exciting opportunity for a Claims Handler to join a well established Insurance business, based in Salford Quays.

You will be working within the claims team, being the first point of contact for customers, assisting customers with insurance policies andprocessing claims.

Description

Duties of the Claims Handler will be:

  • As a Claims Handler, you'll be the first point of contact for the customers assisting customers with insurance policies and processing claims.
  • You'll work with customers over the telephone giving them essential support and dealing with a wide range of insurance claims.
  • To proactively record, process and settle claims in accordance with our principles and procedures and to maintain files within our service standards
  • Liaising with customers to understand their circumstances in relation to their claim

Profile

  • To understand the customer's requirements, responding with professionalism and effectively; using your organisational skills to handle customer queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer focused role is preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills

Job Offer

  • Salary £19,000 £20,000

  • Monday
  • Friday between 8am 6pm
