Description
The Safeguarding Adults Team Administrator works as an integral member of the Safeguarding Adults Team.


The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to manage the referrals processes for all safeguarding concerns relating to adults, guided by the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Adult, the Mental Capacity Lead Matron and the Assistant Chief Nurse.


This will often mean dealing sensitive and distressing information in relation to safeguarding adults, including concerns that are raised by Trust staff and concerns received from Local Authorities against Trust staff and practices.


You will provide administrative support to the Safeguarding Adults Team and manage the referrals process for all safeguarding concerns relating to adults and MCA Deprivation of Liberty processes.

Managing day to day communications coming into the Safeguarding Adults inbox and to appropriately direct enquiries from professionals and multiagency staff.


You will maintain and designvarious safeguarding adult spreadsheets, databases whilst working with the Safeguarding Adult Nurses including, Safeguarding, Deprivation of Liberty, Domestic Abuse etc anddevelop activity reports and provide analysis of data in the reports.


The Assistant Chief Nurse manages the Safeguarding agenda and teams in the trust and works closely with all members and SG leads.


The team consist of; named nurse for safeguarding adults, named midwife, named nurse for safeguarding children, MCA Lead Matron, Dementia Lead Matron and is supported by SG practitioners and administrative staff.


The team work closely together on a number of elements which cross cut Safeguarding such as Domestic Abuse, Modern Slavery, Exploitation, Mental Health and Consent.

The team support the Think Family approach and each other with supervision, audits, policy work etc.


The team are experienced practitioners who support each other with the challenges that Safeguarding present and have an open and honest approach to each other.
