Copywriter


This exciting new role will have an initial two-year focus on communicating the Bible to the 20 per cent of the UK population who are spiritually open and are generally found outside of the traditional audience.

We're looking for a gifted and professionalwriter who will build on research into this group and create written content that connects the Bible both with their everyday needs and their big questions.

£2- 32k per annum

Two-year's fixed-term contract

The Role


As Copywriter, you will write impactful copy for advertising campaigns, articles and social media posts to create an appetite for the Bible and provide experiences where people can encounter the Bible in a positive, perception-changing way.

You will write long and short form content including articles, social media posts, comments, scripts and ads to culturally translate the Bible for people who are open to hearing about it but would never seek it out


After the initial two-year period the remit of this role will broaden to include writing for audiences within the Church.

About You
As Copywriter you will have a degree or equivalent experience in communications or advertising with knowledge of writing headlines that have impact with an aware of best practices in advertising and affairs and issues concerning people today

You will have Experience of

  • Some experience writing for advertising campaigns
  • Proven experience of writing to brand guidelines
  • Writing for search engine optimisation (desirable)
  • Handson experience working alongside designers and other creatives
