Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:

  • On daily basis you will be required to assist service user with their everyday needs, like in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, wheelchairs, using lifting and transferring techniques.
  • Perform healthcare related tasks, such as monitoring any signs deterioration, giving fluids and administration of medication.
  • Providing essential support to service user, develop effective communication with them, while maintaining their dignity.
  • Preparing and maintaining records of client's progress and services performed, also reporting changes in client's conditions to manager and supervisor
  • Demonstrating constant respect and privacy for care user, maintaining dignity and data protection
  • To provide leadership to the care staff within Aegis Care Solutions Ltd
  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
  • To supervise and train new care staff within Aegis Care Solutions Ltd in accordance with agreed standards
  • To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from timetotime be required to maintain practices as up to date
  • Conducting monthly meeting.
  • Auditing of care plans and medication charts.
  • Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service
  • Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

Requirements:


We offer a full in-house induction programme, where you will receive all the training you need through a week long induction programme along with 2 weeks shadowing of an experienced Care Worker.

Enhanced DBS Check and 2 Satisfactory References Required.


Being a car driver or motorcyclist is essential with your own transport, plus the ability to work evenings and weekends to suit the requirements of our clients.

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our staff safe they are provided with full PPE which must be worn in all clients homes. Daily Lateral flow tests are mandatory to detect if you have COVID before attending our vulnerable clients.

We strongly advise all staff receive all doses of the COVID Vaccine and will be co-operating with Leeds City Council regarding their vaccine rules.

This means that should the vaccine become mandatory all our workforce would have to be fully vaccinated.

  • COVID Vaccine is now mandatory for all of our staff unless medically exempt (we would need evidence from a medical professional).
