We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team of professionals. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning, development, and overall well-being. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to create a positive and enriching educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone or small group support to students with varying special needs, including learning disabilities, autism, speech and language difficulties, and more.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual student's needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active engagement and participation.
Collaborate with therapists and specialists to implement individualised education and behaviour plans.
Help students with personal care tasks, as needed, while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Monitor and record students' progress, behaviors, and achievements, contributing to progress reports and evaluations.
Contribute to the creation of visual aids and learning resources to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a SEN school or educational setting is desirable.
A genuine passion for working with children with special needs and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills to connect with students, colleagues, and parents.
A proactive and adaptable approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions.
Basic knowledge of special education techniques, strategies, and resources.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various professionals.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support is desirable but not essential.
