Founding Vision


Owen Monie, our founding Vet, established the Animal Trust, because he passionately believes that no animal should suffer due to their owner's financial hardship, which is why there are no consultation fees charged at any of our vet practices.

There are no eligibility criteria, because we want to encourage people to bring their pets to us. Owners will only pay for any treatment at realistic prices, which are completely transparent and published on our website.

Why You Matter

Our Receptionists are an important link between the clinical and non-clinical needs of our surgery's operation.

Supported by the management team onsite, you will help shape our primary aim of providing access for sick pets to access our services.

Common Duties Include

  • Welcoming clients and their pets for appointments and maintaining a compassionate and professional attitude at all times
  • Working within a team (and at times alone) to ensure the surgery's reception, waiting area and consultation rooms are maintained to a high standard of clinical cleanliness
  • Taking payments, registering new clients and addressing client concerns
  • Organisation and restocking of the practice where required

  • Responsive and fast paced worker
  • Able to prioritise demand including busy phones and customer facing queuing
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to provide a high level of customer service, while taking on a confident attitude
  • Strong organisation skills, open, honest and trustworthy
  • Pleasant manner, compassionate towards clients and pets
  • Strong communicator and able to confidently communicate with staff of all levels _(Vet Nurses, Vets and Directors) _
  • IT Literature and a fast learner
  • Takes direction and can work from own initiative
Desirables

  • Extensive customer experience on both phones and client facing
  • Experience of fast task processing
  • Experience working in a healthcare or similar emotionally charged settings
Hours per week: 35

Weekends: 1:4 Saturday days


Salary:
£10.90PH

Holidays (including Bank Holidays): 6 weeks
