Warehouse Operative (4 on / 4 off):

Due to business growth we have a number of positions available to join our experienced operatives' team in the Port of Tilbury, working specifically with one of our well-known global FMCG business partners.

We are looking for individuals who are keen to work as part of a team to ensure the overall success of the operation and have a significant impact on production, whilst also enjoying the benefits of the 4 on 4 off shift patterns.

About the role:

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working closely with and offering direct support to the Warehouse Supervisor and Management team during the busy operations of the terminal.

You will work as part of a team to achieve the overall productivity objectives.


Your responsibilities will be:


  • Operating a forklift to load & unload pallets
  • Storing and picking goods for our client
  • General warehouse duties as required
  • Additional adhoc support for the Management team
  • Working to strict Health & Safety rules

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who has previous experience in a similar operative role
  • 1 year+ Fork Lift truck experience
  • A full UK driving license is required
  • Ability to work to productivity deadlines as part of a team
  • Maintain exceptional health and safety standards
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • At least 1 year Fork Lift truck experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines

  • Experience with VNA retail warehouse distribution center
