XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for a logistics controller to join them, at a manufacturing site in South Yorkshire.

This opportunity offers the potential of long term employment, where they're looking for hard working and reliable individuals, to become a key part of their manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately stock control and safely handle materials through goods in, stores, line feeding and issuing/ kitting parts
Efficient organisation and control logistic tasks/ operations, adhering with health and safety standards
Full adherence/ compliance with ISO 45001 procedures, total quality focus throughout all direct/ indirect stages of the stores process
Maintain accurate information on the company documentation/ computerised manufacturing systems
Ensure stock takes and cycle checks to be performed in line with company procedures making sure all imprecisions to be highlighted, stock adjustments made, and the cause identified and prevented from reoccurring
Safe operation and compliance with daily maintenance of the companies material handling/ forklift truck
Work as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery and innovation requirements

Experience/Qualifications

Use of Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) preferable
Ability to operate different computer programs such as Word/Excel/ PowerPoint and Outlook
Good communication skills, must be able to communicate well with customers
