Role Purpose:


As a proven commercial leader and member of our UK/IRE leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to ensure the continued transformation of the Surgical Vision business alongside the co-creation of the One Vision organisation.


Whilst leading, shaping and executing the UK/IRE Marketing plan you will utilise proven communication and organisational skills to lead the development and execution of the sales training strategy ensuring the delivery of our business and financial objectives.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Leads, shapes, and executes the Surgical Vision UK/IRE Marketing strategy/plan via the commercial organisation, ensuring delivery of financial objectives.
  • Develops marketing, promotional (inc product advocates) and digital initiatives to position J&J SV for success, ensuring sustainable growth (includes congresses/promotional strategy across UK/IRE).
  • Deploys strategic thinking to deliver critical priorities/projects aligned with financial,
- operational and portfolio objectives. (Pricing Strategies, Portfolio strategies, including rationalisation planning)

  • Utilises proven communication skills whilst demonstrating capability with sales training processes and methodologies (Integrity selling) to lead the development and execution of the sales training strategy via functional partners in Clinical Services / Professional Education.
  • Utilises market insights and trends to continually shape plans, and priorities and deliver datadriven solutions.
  • Utilises strong commercial and financial acumen to lead GP improvement initiatives for key business areas, working with Comm Ex, Finance and regional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates proven people leadership capability to develop, retain and motivate the Equipment Specialist with the ability to deliver through others.
  • Prioritise and execute businesscritical activities, navigating the J&J matrix including business compliance, legal and business quality.
  • Financial management and planning of marketing/training resources to ensure short
- and long-term delivery of OPEX and IBT expectations.

  • As an LT member, you will lead by example whilst driving the culture of growth mindset, collaboration, inclusion and the culture of Our Credo.

Qualifications:


  • Growth mindset, strong team player and the ability to get things done.
  • Strong relevant business experience.
  • Strong tactical/strategic marketing, sales training, project management or commercial experience with a strong track record of business success is required.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals and navigating the UK healthcare market.
  • Ability to lead without direct reporting line responsibility, demonstrating execution through others.
  • Ability to influence and navigate at all levels and across the J&J matrix.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, as well as project management capability.
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership, and ability to empower, align and develop individuals.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree and experience in Ophthalmology would be preferred
