Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daytoday financial operations of the law firm, including accounts payable and receivable, banking, and payroll
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records and reconcile bank accounts
- Administer client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers
- Monitor the firm's cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including antimoney laundering and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a legal cashier or in a similar financial role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
