Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daytoday financial operations of the law firm, including accounts payable and receivable, banking, and payroll
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records and reconcile bank accounts
  • Administer client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers
  • Monitor the firm's cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including antimoney laundering and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a legal cashier or in a similar financial role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
