Senior Site Manager

Location:
Surrey

Salary Range:
£65,000 - £70,000


Our clients are Tier 1 Main Contractors currently looking for a Senior Site Manager to be working on an Educationproject.

As an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will need to have a good understanding of the construction techniques.

Our clients havea great pipeline of work in this location and this could be an ideal opportunity for someone who is located in Surrey.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver and schedule works with direct labour and subcontractors
  • Oversee all direct labour as necessary and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality and cost standardsrequired.
  • Make sure health and safety requirements are always adhered to in accordance with laid down company procedures and legislation.
  • Provide a reliable, first point of contact service.
  • Implement and monitor all systems and procedures and ensure effective operation.
  • Implement and adhere to appropriate environmental controls.
  • Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities.
  • Provide feedback on objectives and training and development needs, as requested.
  • Ensure that relevant issues raised at close down meeting are actioned accordingly for future contracts.
  • Communicate on subcontractor performance to all relevant parties.
  • Invite and encourage use of supplier's technical knowledge, skills and expertise.
  • Offer assistance in project review of other sites.

Requirements:


  • Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on schemes between £10 and £20 million.
  • Preferably experience with RC Frame experience
  • Seen projects from start to finish
  • New Build Experience
