Ebor Academy Trust is a family of schools located across
North and East Yorkshire, York and the Humber region. We think of ourselves as being one school
across many sites, working collaboratively to deliver high quality, rich and
engaging education in our diverse communities.
Our aims are to enable all our learners to flourish and to open doors
for their very best futures.
We genuinely seek to live by our values of Excellence,
Belonging, Opportunity and Respect; these underpin how we work and how we
relate to each other. We have high
ambitions for our learners and staff and aim to deliver this through a culture
of continuous development, support, kindness and understanding. We are a friendly trust that puts people
first.

About the role
Hob Moor Community Primary and Hob Moor Oaks Academies have
an exciting opportunity for a conscientious and committed School Business
Partner to join our team. The two
federated schools share their extensive grounds within the city of York. We pride ourselves in creating a happy,
caring and inclusive environment for our children to thrive in.

This a permanent position and is to work 37 hours per week,
Monday - Friday, these hours will be worked during the school term time plus an
additional two weeks during the school holidays.

As the School's Business Partner you will use a variety of
computerised systems to enable the smooth and compliant running of the school,
including Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety and IT management.

You will be well supported within this role through the
school's Senior Leadership Team; in addition support and advice is available
from the Trust's Central Support Team.
You will line manage a capable, friendly and experienced administrative
team as well as the schools' midday supervisory team.

Ensuring our children are safe at all times is of paramount
importance and you will undertake a range of duties to ensure this is the case.

The job requirements
***We are looking for an experienced administrator who is able to manage the systems and processes in our busy school effectively. As well as being a confident and capable user of various IT systems, you will also be willing to learn how to operate our various software packages to generate reports and other
information as required.

With experience of successfully line managing colleagues,
and a commitment to providing high levels of customer service at all times.

Whilst experience of working in an education setting is
highly desirable it is not essential.
However you will have an understanding of Special Educational Needs,
child protection and safeguarding issues, as well as excellent organisational
and time management skills.

Working with us

Although our administrative staff work in small school-based teams, the systems used are the same across Ebor Academy Trust, meaning help and support is never far away.

We ensure full training is provided, whether it's through courses, apprenticeships or coaching and mentoring.

All our staff have access to a comprehensive Wellbeing Programme to help you and your family stay healthy.

This includes access to free private GP and nurse appointments, exercise advice and classes, plus a variety of specialist clinics as well as personal counselling services.

We also offer significant discounts on many high street shops, online retailers and travel agents, not to mention free car parking at all our schools, an enviable pension scheme, sick pay and family friendly policies.
