An excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established company based in Luton, Bedfordshire.

About the Company:

The UK's leading manufacturer of Mobile Welfare and site cabins which has been established for over 50 years and are a leading provider of site welfare and portable cabins at the forefront of sustainable innovation within the sector.

About the Role:

Manage a group of team members using effective feedback and communication of company goals while assessing work performance and identifying areas for improvement and training.

Key responsibilities:

Strictly adheres to deadlines by communicating expectations to team members, setting goals and motivate team members to achieve target
Supervises team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management
Motivates, guides, and mentors team members to create a positive environment
Manage, trains, and monitor team members in company standards, and job duties
Advises management in hiring and termination decisions when necessary
Carry out return to work interview, performance review your team members and assist in disciplines where necessary.
Carry out one to ones with all team members on a regular basis.
Manage the quality outputs of all operatives, offering feedback where required and continually encouraging improvements.
Be responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety policies, risk assessments and procedures are followed at all times.
Ensuring all members of your team are compliant, understand and have read risk assessments, etc.
Ensuring material and goods are available ontime for the operatives resulting in no downtime
Clean & tidy work area at all times
Proven experience as a senior Production Supervisor or similar role.
A good understanding of manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of production technical standards, processes and relevant legislation
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Organizational and leadership abilities.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach.
Ability to manage a variety of crossfunctional team members

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs at grade A - C (or equivalent)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electronics/engineering or related field is desirable

Salary:
£30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
