Remedy Education is partnered with a fantastic SEN secondary school based in the Lambeth area who are looking for a teaching assistant to join there staffing team as soon as possible.

The school educates children with ASD and Severe Learning Disabilities.

This means that you will have to be understanding and considerate of the individual learning journey of pupils so anyone who is creative and able to create engaging activities.

The school isa friendly and inclusive environment, and are looking for a talented and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible till March with the chance of going Permanent.


The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

  • Have a NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, GCSE/ O-level
  • Have experience working with SEN students
  • Have training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained
  • Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be committed to work fulltime
