The IT Service management Reporting Lead manages, validates and coordinates with colleagues across technology in delivering a wide range of reports which are used to manage IT services for Santander UK up to and including the UK Board.


As the lead of the Service Management function within IT Infrastructure and Operations you will be directly responsible for managing the extensive metrics library, coordinating the data collection for reports, supporting technology teams in developing metrics and ensuring reports are complete and accurate.


Critical to the success will be your knowledge and experience in performance measurement in technology, coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills and leading executive level conversations.

  • Driving the continued development of highquality measurement by technology teams ensuring metrics are clear, accurate and relevant to the business of objectives of the UK bank.
  • Promoting a culture of data ownership and improvement across the technology teams.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across technology and the Bank to exploit best practices meeting current and future requirements.
  • Identifing opportunities for automation, integration of new data and development of new reports.

What you'll bring.

  • Leading a Service Management function.
  • Deep knowledge in performance measurement in a technology setting.
  • Clear evidence of experience in implementing and managing a wide range of metrics used across all elements of technology, its infrastructure and operations.
  • Understanding of technology stacks typically used in large, complex financial organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex data sets across a busy schedule to tight deadlines.
  • Experience engaging and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and business, to drive effective performance measurement.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience and / or qualifications in technology frameworks e.g. COBIT, ITIL
  • Understanding of data management platforms such as PowerBI or Elastic/Kibana

What else you need to know.
It will be a hybrid working role between office and home. Hours of working will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
