Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure all items are enclosed and produced to Adare's specification, before placing into a mailsack or box

Role Description:

Quality:

Take pride in what you produce with a high level of quality at all times, never accepting poor quality as an excuse, ensuring our clients are at the heart of everything you do
To have full understanding of all the quality procedures required for the task
If machine not running to optimum pack speed or optimum quality, highlight the problem to Team Leader
To ensure good housekeeping around assigned machine at all times
If required, flexibility to work within other Shop floor departments

Safety:

Ensure that the safety standards and procedures agreed are adhered too at all times.
To operate the assigned machine in accordance with the set procedures
To be fully aware of all the procedures required to carry out the task set

Performance- The client is king, work to the timescales set in order to achieve what is expected of us.

To know and understand the entire operational requirements for the assigned machine
To be fully aware of the yield speed required for the task
To be fully aware of the completion times/dates of the task
To ensure Mail sorter understands the task set.
If machine not running to optimum pack speed or optimum quality, highlight the problem to Team Leader

Efficiency:

Deliver consistent operational efficiency, whilst feeling empowered to provide positive suggestion for change to help improve your department's mission in driving out waste
To work to achieve zero defects and waste reduction
To understand and practice your responsibilities for the use of the ERP system at all times
Ensure adequate communications are given to the next operator
