SEN Teaching Assistant wanted for an 'Outstanding' primary school in Lambeth


Looking for a rewarding and fulfilling role in education? Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a primary school in Lambeth seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.


The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is patient, kind, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for working with children.

You will be working within the ASD base supporting students in either KS1 or KS2.


Responsibilities may include:


  • Provide oneonone support to children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualised learning plans
  • Work closely with teachers to identify areas where children need extra support
  • Provide small group instruction and classroom assistance as needed
  • Help to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents as required
  • Attend training and development sessions to improve knowledge and skills
  • Ensure that the classroom is a safe and welcoming space for all children
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other school staff to provide updates on children's progress
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to the role as required.

This is a full-time role, starting asap and running until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent.

The daily rate for this position is £80 to £85.
