The University of Strathclyde is in the implementation phase of a major transformation project to design and successfully implement a new HR/Payroll system.

Delivery of this system will dramatically enhance the employee lifecycle experience and transform management capabilities, through employee and manager self-service functionality and the provision of real-time reporting, as well as increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of processes across the University.

The objective of the HR/Payroll System Replacement project is to implement a flexible, efficient, responsive, robust and future-proofed system that is fit for purpose and meets the needs of our people.

The new system will be key to underpinning the delivery of Vision 2025 and its associated People Strategy.

A review of the current HR policy framework and related guidance will also be undertaken as part of the project to ensure the benefits of the system are maximised.

This role will provide consultancy, design and delivery of an engagement & training programme in support of overall business readiness for the new system and will work closely with the HR leadership team and third-party system supplier, engaging stakeholders across the University including Faculty and Departmental Leadership to support project delivery.

Previous experience of the iTrent system and the successful delivery of engagement & training within the higher education sector also would be an advantage, though not essential.
