This highly growth and innovative business are seeking to appoint a results orientated Warehouse Manager for their food manufacturing business based near Diss, Norfolk.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the of warehouse team of 6 personnel picking orders.

You will ensure all inbound and outbound activities are completed to plan to deliver excellent service, whilst maintaining high standards of health andsafety and cost control.

You will need to liaise with other departments to ensure all customer orders are completed on time and in full.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Setting and communicating the daily warehouse plan in line with available resource.
  • Have experience of warehouse stock planning and scanning systems as you must be able to oversee the role out of a new system.
  • Monitoring progress of the plan ensuring high standards of performance are achieved.
  • Completing the warehouse checklist at the end of the shift to measure all tasks have been completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Communicating effectively and liaising with other departments to achieve high standards of customer service.
  • Following all company procedures and processes relating to HR and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Attending meetings where necessary to report on departmental performance.
  • Developing the team, identifying training gaps and performance issues, and instigating a plan to improve.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Responsible for the daytoday management and planning of warehouse and transport operations, taking responsibility for problem solving and managing situations arising
  • Manage the FLT operation.
  • Leading by example to ensure excellent timekeeping, work ethic, H&S and compliance within warehouse.
  • Managing and maintaining the company's stock inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
  • Completing weekly and annual stock take and reconciliation of stock.
  • Overseeing all operations in the warehouse.
This is a full-time permanent position requiring 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm.

The salary is negotiable depending on your experience so if you are a high achiever the earnings will be very attractive.
