Your new role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Catering Team Leader to join our Edinburgh Schools account in Howdenhall Childrens unit,Howden Hall Road, Gracemount, Edinburgh EH16 6PG.

This role is on-site based.


Amey work in partnership with the local council and schools across Edinburgh to deliver facilities management services include cleaning, caretaking and building maintenance.


Catering Team leader - This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your local community by working in a lively local school, preparing and providing school meals.


The standard hours of work are
25 Hours Per Week
(shift pattern: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 and Saturday and Sunday 08:30 to 17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid breaks)

You will be responsible for:

- ensuring the day to day running of the kitchen and service area is outstanding.

  • This is a handson role, where you will responsible for efficient food preparation, as per menu guidelines, undertaking and monitoring stock control, supervising 6 members of staff to work within COSHH and HACCP and provide a catering service in a safe and hygienic environment.
